Use this if:
User receives an error during any operation “Not Enough Disk Space”
Or
Horizon applications are running very slowly
Solution:
Here is a complete list of ALL files that need to be deleted from your ITS80/Horizon directory. ONLY these files/file types can be deleted and nothing else.
*.TMP Temporary Files
*.IDX Temporary Index Files
*.RTP Temporary Files created after running an update patch
ERR*.* Removes all Error files in the system. Even removes error logs. Error logs will recreate themselves once an error occurs.
#*.* Junk
$*.* Junk
Look for old backup files (*.BAK) or backup folders that you could delete. Look for old zip files that you could delete.
You can also check for the same above files in your DIDATA, FRDATA, CSDATA, TIDATA, TSDATA etc. subdirectories. Some of those files will be as follows:
RS######.BAK
RS######.DBF
RS######.FPT
RR######.DBF
RR######.FPT
RR######.BAK
All of the above are junk files
Also........
if you are getting an error message about a temp file on the local drive........
clear the temp file out.
