FRJOUR.DBF is corrupted or has bad data

Problem:  FRJOUR.DBF IS CORRUPTED OR HAS BAD DATA

Solution:

Problems with the frjour.dbf can be fixed using the "Fix Journal File" service.  This will rebuild the journal file as of the current date. User will never be able to get Journal Aging with an as of date prior to the date that you rebuild the journal file.  However, it would be correct from the date it is rebuilt going forward.

Save the file fixjour.app into your Horizon (ITS80) directory.  Then load Billing.  Under Tools, File Maintenance, you will see an option to "Fix Journal File".  Everyone must be out of Billing when you run this.

After you have run it, here is what you can do to test the file.  Run a Regular Aging Report (under General) and run a Journal Aging Report.  On both, just take the defaults; do not enter any date parameters.  The reports should agree.
