How To - Setup more Revenue Codes


Overview:
I have only been using 4 different revenue codes.  But I need to set up additional ones; how do I do this?

Steps:

  1. Select Codes under the View menu.  This will take you to the Revenue Codes listing.
  2. You can add as many codes as you want. By default, Horizon Billing allows for  revenue codes 0 - 9 and A - Z.  These codes are already in the system.  You do not need to add them.
  3. But you can add new codes with up to 5 characters in them and associate them with individual GL Account codes.
  4. If you are linked to SagePro General Ledger, you may need to define which GL account number is used to tie to each revenue code.  This is done under View,  Codes, Revenue Codes, Corresponding GL Account #.
