Informational - How Period Close Determines Default Period
When you choose Close Period in Billing, Billing automatically defaults the current period based on the current date.
Billing fills in the default period to close based on the current date when you are running the Period Close. If you run it before the 15th, it thinks you are doing the previous month; otherwise it will use the current month as the period.
If Horizon does not default to the period/year that you want to close, you can simply changed those values and then proceed with the close.
