Using Selection Dialogs

Horizon often features lists or selection dialogs that show multiple rows of information.

To view areas of a window that are not visible on the screen, you can scroll using the mouse and the scroll bars.

The vertical scroll bar is located on the right side of the window and is used to scroll the list up or down. You can click the up arrow or the down arrow to move up or down one line at a time. If you click and hold the mouse button on the arrow, the screen continues to scroll up or down until you release the mouse button.

The horizontal scroll bar is located along the bottom of the window and scrolls the list left or right.

To select a field, record, menu item or toolbar button, move the mouse pointer over it and click the left mouse button one time.

To move to the previous record in a list using the keyboard, press the up arrow cursor key.

To move to the next record in a list using the keyboard, press the down arrow cursor key.

To move forward to the next field using the keyboard, press the right arrow cursor key or Tab key.

To back up to a previous field using the keyboard, press the left arrow cursor key or Shift-Tab keys.

You may press the Page Up key or the Page Down key to scroll a list in a window, one screen at a time.
