How To - Updating Horizon License Keys

Objective: Update Horizon license key on customer machine

Prerequisites: Horizon installation manager must be on the machine

Refer To: Install - Horizon Installation Manager

Steps:

  1. Go to the workstation that has the Horizon Installation Manager (HIM) on it.  This would be a workstation where you have downloaded updates in the past.
  2. Launch the HIM.
  3. Click "Start Here".
  4. Click the Directories tab.
  5. Use the drop down and select your Horizon folder, then click Ok.
  6. Click the License tab.
  7. Click the "Download License Keys" button.  These should download rather quickly and you should get a message that License Keys were downloaded and applied.  It will also display your new expiration date.
  8. Click OK and exit the HIM.
  9. Load Horizon and check to be sure that you are no longer seeing an expiration date message.
